, Meteor and Jorgan finally made it to the Justicars' operations base and located Kardan, who was in the middle of a heated conversation with an Imperial officer, two more Imperial troopers stood nearby. Upon being confronted, Kardan assumed that the Lieutenant and Aric Jorgan were just grunts and ordered them to stand down. Upon recognizing the Havoc patch, he realized that the Lieutenant was the new recruit from the old Havoc who refused to defect. Instead of fighting the new Havoc, Kardan left for the Works, leaving frustrated Imperials to deal with them. Meteor and Jorgan made short work of the Imperials, but not quickly enough to stop Kardan from escaping.
Meteor contacted General Garza via holocom, finding her extremely surprised to see Imperial soldiers in full gear on Coruscant without Republic security knowing anything about it. She immediately ordered to uncover more information about the dealings between Justicars and the Empire. According to surveillance there was main Justicars computer terminal inside the base, Garza ordered to find and activate it, and then her technicians would slice it and uncover all the necessary data, including how exactly Kardan was helping his former squadmates. Meteor and Jorgan made their way to what the surveillance had identified as a computer lab.
The lab was guarded, and upon entering they were attacked by security personnel and droids. Meteor and Jorgan repelled the attack and took the access card from one of the bodies. They located the main computer terminal and activated it, immediately contacting Garza.
